Established in 1878 the circle J&B ranch was the original headquarters of the notorious Millet Brothers. The Millet Brothers ran over 20,000 head of cattle under the crooked snake brand "S". Even the Comanche Indians steered clear of the Millet Ranch because their cowboys were known for being quick on the draw.
Walls of the old ranch/fort including gun ports are still partially standing on the actual site where Marshals and Deputies shot it out with the Millet ranch hands for stealing horses.
Bob and Janice Carter purchased the ranch in 1999 renaming it the Circle J&B. Years of traditional business success under their belt they purchased the Circle J&B as their exciting and new wildlife endeavor.
Circle J&B received its Scientific Deer Breeder Permit in 2001 and purchased its initial foundation stock of 20 deer from Robert Williams.
