At Circle J&B Ranch we strive to have a "best in class" facility that focuses on treating all our animals humanely and naturally. We emphasize minimal mechanical and pharmacological intervention to reduce stress and produce healthier animals.
Our commitment starts with an ingenious combination of pens and herding techniques which allow us to care for our animals without the use of tranquilization. The "rotunda" (see photo below) was built onsite especially for this purpose. Each animal can be handled and cared for with minimal stress.

Our professional staff at Circle J&B, utilizing our modern facilities, assures that our animals are handled in the most humane manner. The ranch maintains 16 all natural habitat pens that range in size from 2 to 10 acres and contain between 5 to 30 deer in each pen depending on season. Determining which deer go into which pen is an important factor in the breeding process. Just like in the wild, brood bucks are kept together until mating season, does and fawns are kept together until they are weaned.
Our original foundation stock are all directly by Robert Williams 200+ B&C class bucks and now crossed with world famous Dr. "D" - producing World Class Typicals!
We continue to improve the quality of our herd by carefully selecting and purchasing brood stock and by the use of our progressive artificial insemination program. These methods of outcroping allows us to continuously enhance our offspring without inbreeding.
Circle J&B follows strict guidelines that allows us to monitor each new buck from birth to their minimum breeding maturity age of 4 years.
Without exception, all Circle J&B deer are DNA certified and subject to NAWR registration.
Chris Timmons is the general manager of the operations. He is a well-known and respected wildlife expert with a lifetime of working experience.
The Circle J&B Ranch is a strong supporter of the Texas Deer Association, Texas Trophy Hunters, Game Wardens Association and Hunt for the Hungry and strictly adheres to all laws, rules and regulations of the State of Texas. The ranch owners and management of the Circle J&B have gained a reputation of producing superior Whitetails in a professional, ethical and humane manner.
